Beasley was a two-time ASUN First-Team All-Conference performer in both 20. Karla Beasley (Jacksonville, Fla.) began her dominating career at USC Upstate in 2015 and took home the Freshman of the Year award. They have also posted a 255-47 home record since the 2011 campaign, the best in the state of South Carolina. USC Upstate produced 27 First-Team All-Conference selections, 13 Second-Team All-Conference selections and 16 All-Freshman Team members this past decade.
Over the past decade, the Spartans produced three ASUN Player of the Year Award winners, one Defensive Player of the Year Award winner, three ASUN Pitcher of the Year Award winners, four Freshman of the Year Award Winners and a trio of Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award winner. The USC Upstate Softball team won four ASUN Tournament Championships and a trio of Regular Season Championships this past decade. – The USC Upstate softball team had a league high eight players named to the ASUN All-Decade team this afternoon, Karla Beasley (2015-18), Brittany Case (2016-19), Ansley Gilstrap (2016-18), Cheyenne Griffin (2012-15), Holly McKinnon (2016-17), Anna Miller (2013-14), Shellie Robinson (2012-15) and Lexi Shubert (2013-17) all earned the recognition by the conference.
